This long standing community event features both drag and oval races, with an oval, drag and overall points champion being named by the end of the day. There’s Kids and Junior classes as well and everyone is invited to participate. $10 gets you spectator rights and just $30 gets you registered for your first class. The New Lisbon Winter Wanderers snowmobile club was founded in 1970 and just a few years later began hosting an annual radar run as a means to raise money. 42 years later the radar run continues to be a way for the club to fund a scholarship, trail maintenance and club events. A variety of classes invite drivers to post their top speed on the 1,000-foot shaved ice track that according to the club, offers “real world” testing for the more serious circuit drag racers.
