www.tlrcup.com Ice oval snowmobile racing is slowly making its way back towards the popularity it once enjoyed during its hay days in the 1970s, thanks largely in part to the TLR Cup Tour. The Tour strives to increase fan and driver participation in the sport and has been doing an excellent job in its relatively short time on the scene. Through the course of the nine-round season, $115,000 will be awarded to drivers, $25,000 of that going to the Pro Champ driver who finds himself on top of the points standings after Round 9. In a constant state of growth, the TLR Cup Tour has added choice vintage classes to their program as well as the Outlaw 600 class. VP Fuel has joined up as a title sponsor as has AMSOIL, furthering the notion that this fast-paced, ski to ski form of racing isn’t going away anytime soon. The Tour makes its last stop in Beausejour, Manitoba for the first time this year, where drivers will compete for their final share of points on one of the most favorited, half-mile, tracks.
