www.gnssracing.com It’s no secret that snocross continues to sit atop the podium as the most popular form of snowmobile racing. As a matter of fact, if you mention “snowmobile racing” to the average Joe, chances are they’ll assume you’re talking about snocross. Much of the reason behind that is the ease of getting into this variety of racing, which is something that the Great Northern Sno-X Series is known for doing. So much so is their dedication to welcoming new drivers that they offer a “New Racer Incentive,” where anyone bringing in a first-time Trail Stock entrant will receive a $25 credit toward their own entry fees. Want to bring the kids? First time 120 racers get free entry in a second class after registering for their first. Offering a variety of classes within Kids, Junior, Sport and Pro categories, the series has something for everyone and truly deserves their claim as the Midwest’s premiere regional snocross series. Take for example the Trail Stock class, open to everyone over the age of 14 on any 800cc or smaller sled with a working tether, brake, brake light and preferably non-studded track. If you’re curious to see how you stack up against the competition or just want to have Photo courtesy of Dan Schmitz Photography a family fun day at the track, visit www.gnssracing.com for more information. 2016 GREAT NORTHERN SNO-X SERIES SCHEDULE • December 5-6: Ironwood, MI • January 23: Turtle Lake, WI • January 30-31: Plymouth, WI • February 13: Weyauwega, WI • February 20: Westby, WI • February 27: Kaukauna, WI www.redbull.com/snowboundaries February 20: ERX Motor Park - Elk River, MN The Red Bull Snow Boundaries event is poised to bring a first of its kind snowmobile race to ERX Motor Park this coming February and already the snowmobile chat rooms are buzzing with anticipation.
