F (715) 339-2626 • The Woodtick Wheelers started spring off with a bang on May 2: a day that included a spring meeting, a pancake breakfast, a club ride and an Adopt-A-Highway cleanup. After the meeting, which included updates on the club’s 2015 ride schedule, new DNR regs and trails, and other hot topics, they took a club ride from Stony Lake through the Chippewa National Forest to Huddle’s Resort on Leech Lake. Once there, they did their spring cleanup of our Adopt-A-Highway section at Whipholt.This year’s “treasure hunt” in the ditches of State 200 produced a rubber ducky and a duck decoy, in addition to bags and bags of bottles, cans, disposable diapers people flung out of their car windows, and other trash.
