O nce upon a time, ATVAM communications director Ethan Campbell used a 30-year-old snowblower to clear his driveway. Then he had an idea. He took his wife’s Yamaha Kodiak and mounted a plow. “I used to be sore after snowblowing, but now I just sit on the machine, kick it into four-wheel drive and zoom up and down the driveway. It is so much fun,” he said.“Sometimes I put a rotating amber light on the front to make it feel like I am driving an actual plow truck.” Campbell fabricated most of his setup himself, including the mounting bracket. Those with less skill and ambition can choose from a wide variety of plow products for ATVs and UTVs from aftermarket companies.
