Dayco Returns as ISOC Grand Finale Sponsor

Minneapolis, Minnesota – (February 1, 2016) – Officials with AMSOIL Championship Snocross powered by Ram are pleased to announce their continued partnership with Dayco, a leading engine products and drive systems supplier for the automotive, industrial and aftermarket industries, including high-performance belts for snowmobiles and ATVs. For the second consecutive year, Dayco will be the presenting sponsor of the Snocross Grand Finale, March 18 – 20, 2016 at the Grand Geneva Resort and Spa in Lake Geneva, Wisc.

Recognized as the Official Belt of AMSOIL Championship Snocross powered by Ram, Dayco steps up to the pinnacle of competitive snowmobile racing, adding ISOC, along with the Canadian Snowcross Racing Association, to its impressive list of race circuits and teams it sponsors in snocross, ice oval, hill climb, cross country and drag racing, along with numerous backcountry snowmobile athletes.

“Our alliance with AMSOIL Championship Snocross in 2015 provided Dayco the ability to reach even more snowmobile enthusiasts in North America through the use of television, live streaming and social media,” said Ed Rammel, President of the North American and Australian Aftermarket for Dayco.“ Being present in Lake Geneva allows us to not only promote our industry-leading line of belts, but provide technical assistance to sponsored teams as their snowmobiles are only as good as the belts wrapped around the clutches as the drive belt is key to delivering power from the motor to the snow.”

Dayco’s high-performance snowmobile drive belts offer a range of options specific to riders’ level of experience. From the casual rider looking to hit the trails on the weekend, or an all-out intense snocross racer, Dayco has the snowmobile belts riders need to ensure they’re not left at the back of the pack.

“ISOC is excited to have Dayco on board with AMSOIL Championship Snocross powered by Ram for the 2015-2016 competition season,” said Carl Schubitzke, ISOC President and Race Director. “Dayco’s high-quality products are manufactured right here in the United States and are already used by many of the competitors on our professional and amateur regional race circuits. And from amateur to pro, racers understand the importance of a belt’s role in high performance sleds. Dayco leads the industry in this area and we are proud to have them a partner again.”

Beginning with AMSOIL Championship Snocross powered by Ram season opening round in Duluth, Minn., and running through the season finale in Lake Geneva, Wisc., CBS Sports Network will air 17 one-hour programs of the snocross races.

The Nielsen’s Snocross Grand Finale presented by Dayco returns to the Grand Geneva Resort and Spa March 18 – 20, 2016. To order tickets for the championship weekend, visit the AMSOIL Championship Snocross powered by Ram website at snocross.com.
