(EAGLE RIVER, WISCONSIN – January 19, 2015.) Here is some important and detailed information about the trails and snowmobile opportunities in the Eagle River area:
ALL EAGLE RIVER SNOWMOBILE TRAILS ARE OPEN AND IN VERY GOOD CONDITION. CONTINUOUS NIGHTLY GROOMING. NO PROBLEM AREAS AT ALL.
Traffic on the trails of the Snowmobile Capital of the World® is increasing because of our wonderful trail conditions. Don’t forget to stay on your side in the corners, up hills, and yes- – even on the straightaways.
All trails are open, and the base is thick enough to work our way through the current warm up. As you ride be aware that with the warm up some trails will be squirrelly and loose.
The Eagle Lake trail and the Catfish Lake loop are marked and OPEN. Stay by the barrels for safety, and remember not all lakes in our area are trails. The section of Trail 3, also called the “Manske Swamp” is now open. The area is not being groomed at this time. Also Trail 10W/13N across the Wisconsin River bridge is only being groomed to the approach to the bridge. Grooming equipment is heavy and our trail boss does not want to risk a break through.
