Belle Plaine Cleanup October 27

Help the Minnesota DNR clean up one of the worst pollution sites in the state: a former salvage yard on the Minnesota river banks in Belle Plaine. Volunteers get a chance to test the mettle of their wheelers and pull out some strange junk. In 1999, when the cleanup started, the site contained an estimated 300,000 tires. In past years, MN4WDA members (and their equipment) have removed tires, boats, stock tanks, barrels and rusted vehicles. MN4WDA has been involved in the cleanup since 2003.
